The head of the Department, Mr. Khalil Mehdi Hanoun, said, "among the tasks of our department, is the perfumery of the Holy Courtyard with the types of perfumes of international origin," noting, "We recently used a new material (powder) that works on the perfumery of carpets inside the Holy Courtyard, by oxidizing harmful substances and turning them into distinctive perfumes".
As for the effects of the substance used, the head of the Sanctuary Care Department explained that "all the substances included in this powder are natural, and do not contain any harm".
The staff of the department continues to carry out the work assigned to them during the Ziyarat Arba'een, from organizing the movement of visitors in the holy shrine and determining their paths, to prevent stampedes or crowds, as well as creating a resting place for visitors inside the underground floors in the holy courtyard."
